Our Trip to Chicago

We took Gaius on his first big adventure to visit Geoff, Julieanna and Cousin Cora, who just turned 1 (yay Cora!)! For more pics, and more of an accounting of our trip, check here.

G on the plane - altogether we ended up giving him a 6.5 for travel. Not too bad for a 16.5 month old!

Sweet faces at the coolest tea shop I have ever been to, Argo Tea.

Julieanna and Gaius talking to their friends on the phone:

The best pic I took of the cousins playing together

The best expression ever by Cora!

Our big adventure to the Kohl's Children Museum. We must find a place like this out here. G and Cora were a little young, but had a BLAST!

A quiet moment on the computer with Geoff

Aiden's 3rd B-Day!

We had an awesome time at Aiden's party*! Thanks to Sue and Jimmy for a great day. The kids had such a great time, that most of my pictures came out blurry - darn fast kids!

Aiden hated being sung "Happy Birthday" and begged everyone to please stop singing

He paid us all back by plunging his face right into the cake!

* This post is really tardy - so my apologies to all.

Magic Wings

So, if you live out in Western MA, chances are that you have made it out to Magic Wings in South Deerfield. Actually, the fact is, we had never been. Even Gaius had been (he went on a field trip with daycare). Last Saturday, we finally went out there to check it out.

After the butterflies, we hopped on over to the Montague Book Mill for a bite at the Lady Killigrew Cafe. They have the YUMMIEST BEST FOOD!!! You must stop there once or twice in your lifetime. Yes, it's far, but it is amazing! Right by the water, in the lovely hilltown of Montague - what more can you ask for? The only problem is, again, the age old problem of living in an area inundated with college students. I swear, they think the place is theirs! Anyways, we get to enjoy these little places ALL YEAR LONG, even when they are in town. And, I don't care about their ideas that it is THEIR special place. Anyways, here are a few pics:

Oh, and I forgot to mention: The other restaurant there is AMAZING too! Check out the Night Kitchen for a special evening.

God, I do love Western MA!

Boy, did Gaius hate wearing his hood!
